Lincoln is full of inspiration for writers. Dominated by the magnificent Norman cathedral and medieval castle, with its historic Bailgate shopping area, it makes for an atmospheric setting. This is home to my main character, Julia Butler. I picture Julia living in a cottage below the castle walls, although her cottage exists only in my imagination!
My second novel ‘A Question of Loyalty’ is set exclusively in Lincoln. On Saturday 10 December, I will be at Trinity United Reformed Church, Garmston Street, Lincoln LN2 1HZ 11am-12.30pm talking about my writing, reading extracts from ‘A Question of Loyalty,’ and answering questions. I’m delighted to be ‘on location’ for this event.
Signed copies of both ‘A Question of Loyalty’ (£10) and my previous novel ‘After The Funeral’ will be available to purchase (cash only please).
Trinity United Reformed church lies at the foot of Steep Hill overlooking St. Martin’s Square, at the northern end of the pedestrianised High Street. Light refreshments will be served.
